Overview
League One Volleyball (LOVB) launched in 2019 as a mission-led sports performance, training and media enterprise set on changing the game of volleyball in the United States. Ahead of its professional league, it combined top-ranked club programs with whole-athlete development, college recruiting support and events for female athletes, led by a working team and a bench of advisors that included Olympians and college coaches.
Approach
A single-page Webflow site for the pre-launch moment: an image-led landing with the LOVB mark over animated colour slices, a mission statement and a four-value slider, the market case for women's volleyball in numbers, a directory of the working team and advisors with bios and LinkedIn links, and a Mailchimp signup so the community could gather before the league existed. LOVB has since replaced this site as the league grew.
Art Direction
Acid yellow, deep navy, cyan and blush as full-bleed colour slices, Regola Pro headlines, and photography of the athletes at full size.
