How long does it take to build a website?
Depending on the complexity and size of the website, a website build can take anywhere from around 1 month to 5 months.
Many website build durations vary depending on many factors from (page amount, complexity, integrations, graphics, custom code, and more). Though we at ThreeDark make it our mission to deliver on time and leave our clients happy.
What if I need help on my site down the road?
You are able to approach us whenever you need assistance; our team will approach your website after careful study. If your website is down, then we will make the fix and bring it back up and running. Afterward, we would suggest regular maintenance service to ensure the same problem doesn't arise in the future. While leaving you happy with peace of mind, your website is taken care of every day.
Who hosts the website?
To build your website, you will need to purchase a hosting provider. A hosting provider is what allows your website to be placed on the internet for people to be able to view in their browsers.
We always recommend clients purchase their own hosting and have it in their name rather than an agency purchasing it and marking up the price.

Can I update the website myself once it’s built?
Yes, you are more than able to update the website yourself. If you don't update your website with frequent content there are chances of losing visibility in search engines.
I want to have an email signup form on my website? How can I do this?
It is a great idea to add an email sign-up form to your website. You are able to integrate many providers using their free plans as well, from MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, and more.
When integrating these providers do make sure to keep an attractive appeal to the signup form and test prior to publishing.
How many pages do I get with my website?
You get as many pages as you need, we have no limit to the page amount. Although we would recommend at least having a minimum of 4 - 5 pages to help in increasing SEO capability and search engine visibility.
How do you build my website?
When building your website, we go through various tasks to the final costume and to achieve the best of success. This starts out with having an initial discovery to further understand your requirements and needs. From there, we would move to market research and competitor analysis to provide you with the top chances of higher conversions.
Once complete, we would move to a wireframe, mockup, and mood board, then the final build-out. We make sure you are with us through every step of the way using project management software where you can view and track your website progress with us ticking off every step of the way to going live.
I already have a website, how easy is it to change it?
The difficulty level of updating an already-built website depends on your requirements. If you are needing a whole refresh from scratch, a few no pages added, new font, or a new brand identity. We would have a discussion to find out what requirements you are needing and how we can help.
How long will it take to get to the 1st page of Google?
Usually, it would take a minimum of 5 months before you start seeing your site in the 1st place on Google. Although this also depends on keyword difficulty. It is unpredictable as now the competitors these days are quite high, and every business is keen on having SEO-optimized sites. Though through extensive research and proper website build-out with frequent content updates, it is very possible.
How much does hosting cost?
It all depends on the hosting provider. Prices can vary from server size to different functionalities and premium services. If you have any questions about hosting, do let us know, and we can assist you with choosing the right one for your needs.
Do you do SEO for my website when you build it?
Yes, we do offer SEO as a separate service you can choose when building your website. Similar to pricing with a website build-out, the SEO services depend on the size of your website. Clients can also quote monthly SEO services to make sure everything is optimized, and all new content has fresh SEO added in to appeal to search engines, increasing visibility.
What platform do you build your websites on?
We only create websites on WordPress, the reason being as it allows us to create a fully customized website catered to your needs. While also having the ability to integrate multiple tools that will assist you in converting more leads or gaining more traffic to your website.
Can you help me write content for my website?
Of course, we are able to provide you with content on your website and provide content that draws in your audience when on your website.
Will I lose Google ranking if I redesign or redevelop my website?
You will not lose your Google ranking after a redesign, as when we go through a redesign, we do it the right way so that your business does not suffer a loss.

Does my site need to be updated to HTTPS instead of HTTP?
Most definitely, this is no question. It is imperative that your website is updated from HTTP to HTTPS, as this solves a data protection problem. Any website without HTTPS is flagged by search engines and encourages viewers not to visit these sites, which can cause you to lose traffic and conversions. What is the difference between CMS, DNS, hosting, FTP?
DNS – Domain Name System. It connects your domain name and web host IP address to make your website live.
Hosting – Hosting is the location of all your website files. The hosting provider allocates space for your files on a server.
FTP – File Transfer Protocol is the method of accessing and transferring files between computers. FTP offers secure and encrypted transfers by preventing your files from unauthorized access
CMS – CMS is the platform where your website is built. CMS helps in managing your website content and also allows you to add users to your website with their respective access levels
